Nivi Chakravorty

Nivi Chakravorty is a market maker, dot-connecter and storyteller with a track record of anchoring business strategy in deep human insight and empathy. Her experience spans multiple industries (food, beverage, technology); roles (biz dev, innovation, brand management/ building), and disciplines (advertising, event, digital, social, and content marketing).,She currently leads marketing for consumer-driven industries (Retail, CPG and Travel) at IBM — essentially covering all IBM clients whose businesses are being disrupted by the “IWWIWIWI” consumers. Nivi believes that for organizations to thrive, technology has to enable what people want. She is invested in bridging the divide between the world of biz and buzz.
Prior to joining IBM, Nivi spent 14 years in the CPG industry where she held multiple leadership roles from strategic brand positioning and building to global innovation across Unilever’s foods and beverage portfolio. Nivi holds an MBA in Marketing from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a BA in Economics from Smith College.
